Kazakhstan is scaling up the use of artificial intelligence and satellite monitoring technologies in agriculture to increase yields and optimize costs, according to the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

Bakhtiyar Ospanov, head of Kazakhstan Grain Consortium, reported on the results of implementing digital solutions in the agro-industrial complex at a government meeting. He stated that the holding company has transitioned to a unified digital production management environment. The in-house developed system enables real-time monitoring of the work of 5,000 employees and equipment movements, providing minute-by-minute data updates.

As part of its precision farming policy, the holding company has implemented the international NDVI satellite monitoring system. Artificial intelligence analyzes crop conditions, identifies plant water stress, and planting errors. According to operational data, targeted adjustments to agricultural technologies based on AI recommendations ensure a 10-15% increase in crop quality in each field.

"Our digital platform is becoming more than just an accounting system, but a tool for intelligent agribusiness management." "As a result of implementing the digital platform, we achieved the following results: a 5-10% reduction in operating costs, a 10-20% increase in production efficiency, and a significant reduction in the impact of the human factor," noted Bakhtiyar Osanov.
