During a working visit to the North Kazakhstan Region, Nurlan Ospanov, Chairman of the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, met with Marat Tasmaganbetov, Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, and Murat Abdulov, Akim of the Ualikhanov District of the North Kazakhstan Region, where a pilot project to grow corn using modern technologies is being jointly implemented.

During the meeting and on-site visits to experimental fields, the participants discussed prospects for the development of the region's agro-industrial complex, issues of diversifying the structure of crop areas, implementing modern agricultural technologies, and expanding the production of high-margin crops, primarily corn and soybeans, which are particularly promising for the conditions of Northern Kazakhstan.

Particular attention was paid to the practical results of the pilot corn growing project in the Ualikhanov District of the North Kazakhstan Region, which is being implemented using technologies from the Chinese company Taihua. The project will evaluate the effectiveness of new agricultural technology solutions and identify opportunities for their further scaling up in the region.

Following the meetings, a common understanding was reached regarding the need for systematic development in this area. The Kazakhstan Grain Union and the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region confirmed their commitment to further cooperation on expanding the production of highly profitable crops and implementing modern cultivation technologies to create a sustainable raw material base for enterprises engaged in the advanced processing of agricultural products.
