Kazakhstan is ready to increase agricultural exports to Georgia. Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov announced this at a meeting with Georgian Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili on the sidelines of the 93rd General Session of the Organization for the Protection of Nature in Paris.

"We are interested in supplying grain, flour, vegetable oils, meat and dairy products, and pasta," Saparov noted.
According to the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture, by the end of 2025, agricultural trade between the two countries had increased by 77%, exceeding $116 million. Wheat and meslin, dairy products, onions, and meat products accounted for the majority of exports to Georgia.

At the meeting, the heads of departments also discussed expanding the export of pork and live pigs to the Georgian market.

Cooperation in veterinary medicine remains equally important: in January 2025, the veterinary services of the two countries agreed on veterinary certificates for the export of breeding and commercial cattle, small ruminants, and slaughter cattle from Kazakhstan to Georgia. This work continues.

The parties also discussed prospects for cooperation in personnel training, scientific support for the agricultural sector, and the implementation of joint investment and research projects.
