National company KTZ has extended the order to ban the transportation of a number of agricultural goods to China. The document states that the measure will be in effect from September 1 to 10, APK News reports.
The order is dated August 26, 2025. The document states that, due to the systematic delay in unloading trains and the failure of the Chinese side to accept covered wagons with agricultural products (grain crops, wheat, flax, oilseeds, barley, feed products, flour, processed products) at the Altynkol station, a situation of critical accumulation of rolling stock has arisen at the Altynkol station. It is reported that over 310 covered wagons with grain cargo are approaching the station - the waiting period is up to twenty days.
In this regard, it was ordered to impose a ban on the acceptance for transportation and redirection of goods, including wheat, flaxseed, oilseed products, barley, compound feed, flour, bran, meal and other grain processing products (except corn), sent in covered wagons to the People's Republic of China via the Altynkol point for a period from September 1 to September 10, 2025 inclusive.
The order also states that when the situation stabilizes and transportation conditions improve, the said ban will be lifted.
