On August 1, 2025, the National Agricultural Census will begin in Kazakhstan. This large-scale statistical survey will cover all regions of the country and will become an important source of up-to-date data on the state of agriculture.
The census will be held in two stages and will last until October 20, 2025:
Online stage – August 1-31:
Legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, peasant and farm enterprises engaged in crop production, livestock and fish farming, as well as households are required to participate. The survey is conducted on the website sanaq.gov.kz.
Offline stage – September 20-October 20:
Interviewers will personally visit households that did not complete the online survey, but have garden plots, vegetable gardens, orchards or farm animals.
