In the first 10 months of the current season (September 2025 to July 30, 2026), Kazakhstan's grain and flour exports in grain equivalent totaled 13.9 million tons. This is 12.6% more than in the same period last year (12.4 million tons), according to the Ministry of Agriculture, citing data from JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
The main drivers of growth were traditional importing countries in Central Asia and Afghanistan.
Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 36% to 5.8 million tons, to Kyrgyzstan by 35% to 528,000 tons, to Afghanistan by 57% to 2.4 million tons, and to Turkmenistan by 32% to 220,000 tons.
