According to the national company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, from September 2025 to May 2026, Kazakhstan exported 12.2 million tons of grain and flour in grain equivalent, a 13% increase compared to the same period last season. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main growth in export deliveries was driven by traditional markets in Central Asia and Afghanistan. Specifically, deliveries to Uzbekistan increased by 38%, from 3.6 million to 5 million tons, to Kyrgyzstan by 1.5 times, from 312,000 to 474,000 tons, and to Afghanistan by 58%, from 1.3 million to 2 million tons.
Exports to Turkmenistan totaled 197,000 tons, a 44% increase compared to the same period last year, when deliveries totaled 137,000 tons.
The Ministry of Agriculture notes that the positive dynamics of freight transport confirms the high demand for Kazakhstani agricultural products and the stable operation of logistics corridors in the southern direction.
