TOP 100 Agroholdings of Kazakhstan in 2025 26.12.2025 в 12:25 6 просмотров

The Eldala.kz portal has updated its "Top 100 Agroholdings of Kazakhstan" rating.

This year, the top three largest land users in Kazakhstan have changed. The rating is based on publicly available data on the size of these companies' land banks.

Olzha Agro continues to top the rating with a land bank of 960,000 hectares. The company's arable land covers 660,000 hectares, and pastures cover 300,000 hectares.

Olzha Agro Agro Holding operates in the Kostanay Region. Its main activities include growing grain, legumes, oilseeds, forage crops, and melons; seed production; grain warehousing and storage (eight elevators with a total capacity of 1,450,000 tons); importing and processing agricultural crops; producing livestock feed; and raising dairy and beef cattle.

The Grain Consortium of Kazakhstan (GCK) holding company moved into second place. Its land bank covers 909,900 hectares. Since 2021, the GCK has been an investor in the Kazexportastyk Holding group of companies and is implementing a plan to restore the group's assets.

GCK's structure includes dozens of medium and large farms in the country's two main agricultural regions—Akmola and North Kazakhstan Oblasts. Each farm covers between 12,000 and 40,000 hectares.

This past growing season, the GCK has planted approximately 340,000 hectares with a wide range of crops. Crop rotation is based on both the need for crop rotation to maintain soil fertility and economic sustainability. As a result, half of the land is occupied by grains (bread and durum wheat), a quarter by legumes (red lentils), and another quarter by oilseeds (sunflower and flax).

Atameken Agro (441,000 hectares) moved up to third place in the rankings. Atameken Agro cultivates land in the Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions, with 321,000 hectares used for arable farming. The holding's fields grow grains (bread wheat, durum wheat, and barley), oilseeds (rapeseed, flax, and mustard), legumes (peas, lentils, and chickpeas), and buckwheat.

Atameken Agro is also involved in beef and dairy cattle farming and provides elevator services.

And these are not all the changes that have occurred in the land bank of Kazakhstan's agricultural companies this year. To find out who lost ground and to whom, see the full article on Kazakhstan's Top 100 Agricultural Holdings, which will be continually updated with new information.
