Kazakhstan's farmers received 334 billion tenge as part of the 2026 spring field work financing program. The funds are used to prepare for the sowing campaign and cover over 4 million hectares of cultivated land. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"As of today, a pool of 3,963 agricultural producers has been formed, totaling 556 billion tenge." "3,287 applications totaling 334 billion tenge have been financed, covering over 4 million hectares of cultivated land," the Ministry reported.
The final interest rate for farmers is 5% per annum.
A loan guarantee mechanism is also being implemented through the Damu Fund, allowing for 85% of the loan amount to be guaranteed. Currently, 753 loan guarantees totaling 148 billion tenge have been issued.
The funds received are being used to purchase fuel and lubricants at competitive prices, mineral fertilizers, repair agricultural machinery, and build up the necessary seed stock.
"Concessional financing is available for preparing and conducting spring field work, as well as for the harvesting campaign and covering seasonal expenses. Funds are provided through the branch network of the Agrarian Credit Corporation and partner financial institutions throughout the country," the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
