In 2026, Food Corporation's subsidiary, Astyk Koymalary LLC, plans to continue upgrading its production facilities and developing investment projects aimed at expanding its grain elevator network.
According to the Food Corporation, in 2025, the company's grain receiving stations received 434,000 tons of grain, including 358,000 tons of the new harvest. As of January 19, 2026, Astyk Koymalary LLC's grain elevators stored 264,000 tons of grain.
During the year, 432,000 tons of grain and oilseeds were shipped from four grain depots. Compared to the same period in 2024, shipment volumes increased by 25%.
To ensure transparency in the grain acceptance process, an information system for weighing agricultural products with photo recording has been implemented at all grain receiving points, minimizing the impact of human error.
Last year, the company allocated 404 million tenge to maintain and upgrade the grain receiving point infrastructure. A grain dryer and vehicles were purchased for three grain depots, warehouse facilities were renovated, and switches on sections of the railway sidings were replaced.
