5.1 million tons of new harvest grain were exported, according to the APK News agency.
From September 2025 to January 15, 2026, 2025 grain shipments to foreign markets totaled 5.1 million tons. For comparison, during the same period in 2025, the volume was 4.3 million tons. Thus, a significant increase in grain shipments to foreign markets is being observed.
The largest positive dynamics were recorded for the main export destinations. For example, grain shipments to Uzbekistan increased by 40.2%, from 1,670,000 tons to 2,341,000 tons. Significant growth was also noted with the Kyrgyz Republic: export volumes increased by 76.5%, from 85,000 tons to 150,000 tons. Grain exports to Afghanistan increased by 71.6%, from 204,000 tons to 350,000 tons. Overall, the increase in grain export volumes confirms the high potential of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex, the competitiveness of domestic products, and the stable demand for Kazakh grain in traditional and new markets.
