Zhandos Kuanyshev, Vice President for Commercial Affairs at Astyk Trans JSC, has been appointed Head of the Logistics and Inspection Committee of the Kazakhstan Grain Union. According to the Union, the rotation is part of a renewed leadership of the industry committees.
"Zhandos Kuanyshev has significant experience in the transport and logistics sector, deep expertise in rail transportation, and practical experience in organizing freight and commercial operations. With his participation, initiatives to route grain shipments were implemented, which increased transportation speed, rolling stock efficiency, and increased grain transportation volumes in domestic and international traffic," noted the Kazakhstan Grain Union.
The Union noted that the professional experience of the new head of the Logistics Committee contributes to further strengthening the export potential of Kazakhstan's grain.
The Kazakhstan Grain Union includes Kazakhstan's largest grain and oilseed producers and exporters of crop products. Grain receiving facilities, transport and forwarding companies, and other grain market participants. Union members account for 70% of Kazakhstan's grain exports.
Astyk Trans is the main grain truck operator in Kazakhstan.
