Kazakhstani manufacturers will receive partial compensation for the costs of transporting products by rail within the country. New support instruments have been introduced into the "Rules for the Provision of State Incentives for Industry Aimed at Promoting Processed Goods, Work, and Services of Kazakh Origin on the Domestic Market." This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"In accordance with the amendments, domestic enterprises are entitled to reimbursement of up to 50% of the costs of transporting priority goods by rail within the country. The maximum compensation amount is up to 10,000 monthly calculation indices (43.25 million tenge). Previously, state support measures for domestic rail transportation were not applied in the country," the Ministry reported.

Furthermore, the amendments to the Rules increase the compensation for international product certification costs fivefold. Previously, the state reimbursed up to 3,000 monthly calculation indices, but now it will be up to 15,000 monthly calculation indices (approximately 65 million tenge). International certificates allow Kazakhstani companies to participate in tenders held by transnational organizations and expand their export opportunities.

The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development also noted that QazIndustry is the national operator for state incentive measures aimed at increasing labor productivity and promoting products on the domestic market. By the end of 2025, the center had reimbursed small and medium-sized businesses over 1 billion 436 million tenge in expenses, with approximately 60 enterprises receiving state support.

Note: The amendments provide for compensation for costs associated with rail transportation from the point of origin to the destination within Kazakhstan of processed goods of Kazakhstani origin included in the List of Priority Goods approved by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development. The list includes products from various industries, including food products: milk and dairy products, flour, vegetable oils, meat, fish, confectionery, and much more.
