Grain market prices have risen in Kazakhstan. According to a review and recommendation on a trading strategy for grain producers prepared by the "Grain and Oilseeds. Kazakhstan" bureau, grain prices are guided by Food Corporation prices, the APK News agency reports.

According to data from December 29, the price of some grade 3 wheat increased, as well as for grades 4.5 wheat and barley.

For example, grade 3 wheat with a gluten content of up to 23% increased in price by 1,000 tenge to 87,000 tenge per ton,
grade 4 wheat increased by 1,000 tenge to 78,000 tenge per ton,
grade 5 wheat increased by 1,000 tenge to 73,000 tenge per ton, and
grade 2 barley increased by 1,000 tenge to 77,000 tenge per ton.

All of these crops are recommended for sale as needed.

However, Hi-pro wheat is recommended to be held until prices become more favorable. Its price remained unchanged last week, trading at 117,000 tenge per ton.

Class 3 wheat with up to 25% gluten costs 92,000 tenge – its price also remained unchanged last week. All prices shown include VAT.
