KazAgroFinance informs farmers about the need to adjust contracts due to the increase in the VAT rate. 23.12.2025 в 15:06 8 просмотров

Agricultural producers in the Akmola region are concerned about rising leasing payments. At the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, farmers were informed that KazAgroFinance has begun adjusting contracts due to the VAT rate increase from 12% to 16%. The company noted that the new Tax Code could impact the financial stability of enterprises, according to the APK News agency.

According to the NCE press service, the discussion took place at a meeting of the Sectoral Council of the Agro-Industrial Complex and Food Industry, held at the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Akmola region the day before. Key instruments of state support for agricultural producers in the coming year were discussed. Participants examined in detail the effectiveness of existing programs and outlined possible ways to improve them.

Particular attention was paid to financial instruments that provide farmers with working capital. These include preferential loans, subsidies, and specialized financing programs that enable the timely acquisition of necessary equipment, seeds, and fertilizers, as well as the implementation of seasonal work.

According to representatives of financial institutions, agricultural support in 2026 will be focused on ensuring food security, increasing productivity, and sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex. Priority will remain on ensuring high-quality and timely spring sowing and harvesting.

The Ken Dala program was praised by farmers for its prompt provision of financing and affordable interest rates without additional subsidies. At the same time, meeting participants proposed expanding the targeted use of borrowed funds. This includes expenses for electricity for operating mechanical grain cleaning machines and for maintaining tractor fleets during repairs of specialized equipment.

Furthermore, agricultural producers believe it is necessary to allow the use of loans for the purchase of spare parts for trucks and agricultural machinery. Such measures will reduce the financial burden on farms and improve the effectiveness of support.

Farmers are particularly concerned about the increase in leasing payments. KazAgroFinance JSC announces the need to adjust its contracts due to the increase in the VAT rate from 12% to 16%. According to Marlen Ibrayev, Deputy Director of the company's regional branch, this is due to changes to the Tax Code that come into effect next year and could impact the financial stability of companies.

"The discussion of problems and proposals at the Regional Chamber confirms the importance of ongoing dialogue between the state, financial institutions, and agricultural producers to develop balanced and effective solutions to support the agro-industrial complex," emphasized Gulden Khametova, Deputy Director of the Regional Chamber.
