Analysts at the "Grain and Oilseeds. Kazakhstan" research bureau have released their latest oilseed price bulletin. The market remains relatively stable, according to APK News.
The bulletin states that prices for the period from December 15 to 21 were as follows:
Flax – 211,000 tenge
Rapeseed – 213,000 tenge
Sunflower – 203,000 tenge
Safflower – 174,000 tenge
Soybeans – 196,000 tenge
Mustard – 221,000 tenge per ton.
All crop categories remained unchanged during this period. It is recommended to sell them as needed.
The bureau noted that the direct purchase prices announced by the Food Corporation are approximately 4,000 tenge per tonne higher than current market benchmarks for flax and approximately 7,000 tenge per tonne higher for sunflower.
The Food Corporation also announced preliminary prices for the forward purchase of oilseeds for the 2026 harvest. The stated benchmarks for flax, sunflower, and rapeseed are 100,000 tenge per tonne.
