The Food Corporation's direct grain procurement program for the 2025 harvest is expected to begin in December. Farmers will be offered market prices for wheat, barley, sunflower, flax, and rapeseed.

According to preliminary information, the price of ordinary Class 3 wheat (23-24% gluten) will be 88,000-90,000 tenge per ton (including VAT). The price will vary depending on quality characteristics, such as falling number and protein content.

Similarly, the price of Class 3 wheat with 25-26% gluten will be 94,000-96,000 tenge per ton.

Hi-pro wheat (27% gluten) will cost 115,000 tenge per ton.

The expected price of Class 4 wheat is 75,000-77,000 tenge per ton, and Class 5 wheat is 65,000 tenge per ton.

Class 2 barley - 75,000 tenge/ton.

As for oilseeds, the preliminary purchase price for sunflower is 205,000-210,000 tenge/ton, rapeseed - 210,000 tenge/ton, and flaxseed - 215,000 tenge/ton.

Agricultural products will be received by authorized Food Corporation elevators in the regions.

As a reminder, the Food Corporation's forward purchase prices for agricultural products are (including VAT):

  • Class 3 wheat (27%+ gluten) - 115,000 tenge;
  • Class 3 wheat (25-27% gluten, Falling Number from 250) – 96,000 tenge
  • Class 3 wheat (25-27% gluten, Falling Number from 200) – 94,000 tenge
  • Class 3 wheat (23-24% gluten, Falling Number from 230) – 92,000 tenge
  • Class 3 wheat (23-24% gluten, Falling Number from 160) – 90,000 tenge
  • Class 4 wheat (20-22% gluten, Falling Number from 200) – 82,000 tenge
  • Class 4 wheat (18-19% gluten, Falling Number from 80) – 80,000 tenge
  • Class 5 wheat (18% gluten) – 70,000 tenge
  • Wheat Hard (vitreity 60, falling number from 200) – 90 thousand tenge
  • Class 2 barley – 75 thousand tenge.
