Precipitation—rain and snow—is expected across much of Kazakhstan in the coming days. Heavy precipitation is expected in the eastern and southeastern regions on November 13. Fog, ice, and strong winds are forecast across the country, with ground blizzards in the east, north, and center of the country, according to Kazhydromet.

According to forecasters, only the south and southwest of Kazakhstan will see no precipitation.

In addition, a brief cold snap is expected:

• In the north, overnight temperatures will reach -5 to -12°C, with daytime temperatures reaching -0 to -6°C;
• in the northwest, overnight temperatures will reach -2 to -10°C, with daytime temperatures reaching -0 to -5°C;
• in the center, overnight temperatures will reach -3 to -13°C, with daytime temperatures reaching -6°C to -3°C;
• in the east, overnight temperatures will reach -8 to -20°C, with daytime temperatures reaching -0 to -10°C.

No significant temperature changes are expected in the rest of the country.
