In Kazakhstan, 8.4 million hectares, or 52.6% of the total grain and legume crop area, have been harvested. The projected harvest area for grain and legume crops is over 16 million hectares. A total of 12.7 million tons of grain have been harvested, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition to grain crops, agricultural producers harvested 435,000 tons of oilseeds, 1.5 million tons of potatoes with a yield of 224.3 c/ha, and almost 2.5 million tons of vegetables with a yield of 284.5 c/ha.
Over 396,000 tons of cabbage were harvested with a yield of 330.1 c/ha, 676,700 tons of onions with a yield of 423.3 c/ha, and 241,200 tons of carrots with a yield of 296.6 c/ha.
