
The Food Corporation is interested in increasing cooperation with Pakistan to expand the geography of Kazakhstan's agricultural exports. In particular, at a joint meeting of the Kazakh-Pakistani working group on agriculture in Islamabad, agreements were reached on the supply of Kazakh wheat, oilseeds and sunflower oil, the press service of the Food Corporation reported.
First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the company Ildar Ismagulov noted that the Food Corporation is ready to export food wheat, barley, oilseeds, lentils, and sunflower oil to Pakistan.
"The company has about 2 million tons of grain at its disposal annually, which allows it to fulfill long-term contracts and organize deliveries. We are open to the introduction of forward purchasing mechanisms with the participation of foreign investors and are ready to guarantee the required volumes, quality and timely delivery of agricultural products," he said.
Following the first joint meeting, the parties signed a protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Food Security of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Recall that from September 8 to 9, 2025, the official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took place. The Kazakh delegation included heads of ministries and departments, representatives of quasi-state companies.
