
Kazakhstan grain exports reach 9.8 million tons

From September 2024 to August 10, 2025, Kazakhstan exported 9.8 million tons of grain, which is 55% higher than in the same period of the previous season. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to NC KTZ, the following dynamics of grain supplies have developed in the current season:
- to Uzbekistan, an increase of 34.4%, from 2.75 million tons to 3.7 million tons;
- to Tajikistan, an increase of 46%, from 960 thousand tons to 1.4 million tons;
- to Afghanistan, an increase of 51.6%, from 217 thousand tons to 329 thousand tons;
- to Kyrgyzstan, a twofold increase: from 131 thousand tons to 262 thousand tons;
- to Iran, an increase of 16 times: from 61 thousand tons to 974 thousand tons;
to Azerbaijan, a 121-fold increase: from 6 thousand tons to 728 thousand tons. "The significant increase in supply volumes reflects the high demand for Kazakh grain in foreign markets and indicates the effectiveness of the measures being implemented to expand the geography of exports, as well as improve the logistics infrastructure," the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
