In the northern regions of Kazakhstan, meteorological conditions in the first half of August will be sufficient for ripening and harvesting. Frequent rains are expected in the third ten-day period, which, coupled with high air humidity, will complicate the start of grain harvesting. Rains are also expected in the first ten-day period of September, which will again slow down the pace of harvesting. This is reported by Kazhydromet.
This forecast is preliminary and will be adjusted taking into account the clarification of the weather forecast for September
According to Kazhydromet, in the third ten-day period of July, in most areas of the northern half of Kazakhstan, agrometeorological conditions were good for filling and ripening of grain. In most of the south of the country, grain has ripened, and harvesting is underway there.
In general, during the growing season in grain-growing regions, moisture and heat supply were sufficient for the full growth and development of spring grain crops.
According to the forecast, in August grain moisture is expected to be on average within 12-15%, straw moisture - about 16-22%, which is a good indicator.
