Also on the agenda: prospects for contracting future harvests and risk management mechanisms; the potential for deep grain processing and feed flour exports; dialogue with government agencies and international partners.
Special attention will be paid to issues of domestic demand for grain and cross-border trade opportunities, including the potential interest of Kazakhstani companies in purchasing new-crop grain in Russia.
AGRICOM is an industry platform where scenarios for the new trading season are discussed and partnerships between key participants in Kazakhstan's agribusiness and its partners are strengthened.
The grain conference is expected to be attended by over 300 business representatives from Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Iran, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, European countries and other countries. In addition to speeches and presentations, discussions with leading experts, traders, manufacturers and regulators are planned on the sidelines of the conference.
