In 2025, the budget for supporting exporters has increased to 6.8 billion tenge. This was announced by the national operator for supporting foreign trade, QazTrade, at an online meeting with exporters.
“This means that Kazakhstani companies will be able to count on increased funding, which will expand coverage and improve support for small and medium businesses. Resources are currently aimed at developing non-resource exports, as well as supporting companies entering international markets,” QazTrade reported.
It is noted that a proactive compensation system is being considered this year. This means that state support will begin even before the start of export activities. Companies will be able to receive assistance at the preparatory stage - in the field of marketing, packaging, certification and other stages that are important for successfully entering international markets.
“To provide this support, it is planned to introduce an IT ecosystem that will simplify the process and make it more accessible. Everything will become simpler and faster: submitting applications, tracking statuses and accessing support measures - all through one digital window," QazTrade clarified.
As noted by QazTrade Managing Director Azamat Kusainov, special attention will be paid to small and medium businesses, which are the main driver of non-resource exports.
"We are in the process of developing new rules and support mechanisms and want your opinion to be taken into account. Write to us in writing or orally, send suggestions through our communication channels. We are confident that feedback will help us improve the system and make it as convenient and effective as possible. In addition, in the near future we will hold meetings and discussions, to which you will definitely be invited. Our goal is not only to compensate for costs, but also to create a sustainable basis for the development of your business," Azamat Kusainov addressed the exporters.
