
Kazakhstan has imposed restrictions on sending container trains to China, APK News agency reports with reference to logistan.info.
It is reported that the restrictions have been introduced from today, March 26, until the end of the month, that is, until March 31. The measure concerns three regions of Kazakhstan at the Altynkol-Khorgos border crossing.
"KTZ introduces a temporary restriction on the number of container trains sent by NODGP-1,2,7 to the interstate connecting point Altynkol-Khorgos on the border with China," the information says.
From the stations of the Akmola, Kostanay and Almaty branches. From each of the branches - no more than 2 trains per day.
The reason given was: "for the purpose of uniform loading of infrastructure and rhythmic delivery of container trains in the direction of the PRC."
