Farmers received over 200 billion tenge to prepare for sowing 04.03.2025 в 15:09 121 просмотр

The volume of preferential lending for field work in 2025 will amount to 700 billion tenge. To date, more than 1.8 thousand agricultural producers have already been financed for 206 billion tenge. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov during a government meeting.

Financing of farmers is carried out through the Agrarian Credit Corporation, second-tier banks, microfinance organizations, regional investment centers, credit partnerships and social entrepreneurship corporations.

"Preferential loans are issued at a net 5% per annum without the need for farmers to apply for subsidies. Further, this program of preferential lending will be continued," Aidarbek Saparov said.

When receiving loans, farmers can receive a guarantee in the amount of 85% of the loan amount.

In addition, 200 billion tenge have been allocated for preferential leasing this year, which will make it possible to purchase 6 thousand units of domestically produced agricultural machinery. As of today, applications have been received from 3.2 thousand farmers for the purchase of 5 thousand units of agricultural machinery for the amount of 130 billion tenge.

Aidarbek Saparov emphasized that the inclusion of SPKs in the financing of field work in 2024 increased the availability of lending for farmers.

“Last year, seven SPKs took part in the program. However, today only four SPKs are actively participating in the program. In this regard, on February 27, during a meeting with akimats, the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized the inadmissibility of disrupting the government's initiative to involve SPKs in preferential lending processes,” the minister said.

He asked the Prime Minister to instruct the akimats of the regions to strengthen their work in terms of financing farmers through SPKs.
