
The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has allocated more than 116 billion tenge from the reserve to support farmers. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
“The funds are planned to be used to finance agricultural entities for high-quality spring sowing and harvesting work in 2025, as well as the purchase of domestically produced agricultural machinery. This will be implemented by subsidizing coupon interest on bonds of JSC Agrarian Credit Corporation, JSC KazAgroFinance - for further financing for the purchase of domestically produced agricultural machinery and assembly for subsequent leasing, as well as reducing the cost of the commission when guaranteeing loan agreements of JSC Entrepreneurship Development Fund Damu,” the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan explained.
These funds in the amount of 116 billion tenge were allocated as part of the implementation of the order of the head of state to provide sowing and harvesting work with preferential financing in the amount of at least 700 billion tenge. Earlier, in December 2024, the government allocated the first 100 billion tenge to finance the sowing campaign.
