National company KTZ has decided to increase indices for tariffs for MHC, the APK News agency reports.
As reported in the press release of JSC Astyk Trans, in accordance with the protocol decision of the State Commission on Modernization of the Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 18, 2024 No. 21-05 / 07-1413, by order of JSC NC KTZ dated February 20, 2025 No. 2-Ts, a decision was made to apply increasing indices to tariffs for regulated MHC services within the price limits approved by the order of the Committee on Regulation of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 21, 2024 No. 26-OD.
The application of increasing indices applies to the transportation of goods in wagons in export traffic and their empty return in import traffic, as well as during the transportation of goods in wagons in transit traffic on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the borders of the EAEU and their empty return, including transportation involving stations of Kazakhstan railways located on the territory of the EAEU member states, with entry into force from March 7, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
At the same time, the effect of previously introduced increasing indices to tariffs for regulated services of the Ministry of Railways for transit transportation of goods within the borders of the EAEU is canceled.
"We remind you that the tariff rate charged to the client for freight forwarding services includes the railway tariff of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy," the information from Astyk Trans says.
The company also noted that the increase in transportation costs from March 7 was due solely to the increase in the railway tariff of the carrier - JSC NC Kazakhstan Temp Zholy. At the same time, Astyk Trans informed that the Company's tariff policy remains unchanged.
