Rising prices for major food products observed in Kazakhstan

According to the results of the first half of 2019 in Kazakhstan, there was a rise in prices for almost all important types of food, reports "Forbes-Kazakhstan" with reference to the statistical services of the country.
Thus, there was a rise in prices for wheat flour - by 13.5%, cereals - by 10.6%, pasta - by 9%, meat of livestock - by 5.3%, bread - by 5.2%, vegetable oil and dairy products - by 2.5%. At the same time, prices for poultry meat decreased by 3.2%, as well as for sugar (by 0.3%).
In general, for the period from January to June, industrial producer prices in Kazakhstan increased by 10.2% compared to the same period of 2018.
