Grain reserves in Kazakhstan are almost 5 million tons higher than last year

As of October 1 of this year, Kazakhstan had 18.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops (compared to 13.7 million tons on the same date in 2023). This was reported by APK-Inform with reference to official statistics.
In particular, wheat reserves amount to 14.84 million tons (on the same date last year - 10.6 million tons). Of the total volume, food wheat accounts for 13.15 million tons, feed wheat - 1.16 million tons, seed wheat - 536.8 thousand tons.
Also, on the specified date, there were 2.37 million tons of barley (1.36 million tons on October 1, 2023).
But corn reserves decreased to 228 thousand tons (308 thousand tons on October 1, 2023).
