The Food Corporation announced the launch of a pilot project to consolidate batches of farmers' agricultural products for further export. At the same time, the corporation does not purchase products, but only organizes their shipment from one elevator.
As part of the project, it is planned to consolidate at one authorized grain storage point at least 1 thousand tons of soft wheat of class 3, barley and lentils of Kazakhstani production. Applications from producers are accepted until October 31. The term for consolidation of export batches is up to and including November 15.
Quality requirements for soft wheat of class 3:
- natural weight not less than 710%
- gluten not less than 23%
- falling number not less than 160
- protein not less than 11.5%
- moisture not more than 14%
- weed impurity not more than 2%
- grain impurity not more than 5%.
Quality indicators of class 2 barley:
- natural weight not less than 630 g/l
- humidity not more than 14.5%
- weed impurity not more than 2%
- grain impurity not more than 7%
Quality indicators of food plate lentils:
- humidity not more than 15%
- weed impurity not more than 3%
- grain impurity not more than 2%.
Infestation of agricultural products with pests is not allowed.
The Food Corporation noted that the project is aimed at small and medium-sized agricultural producers, however, if the volume of the export batch is insufficient, it is allowed to involve other participants in the Kazakhstan grain market.
If the minimum volume of the batch is not collected, importers refuse to conclude export contracts, or the market situation changes, then the unclaimed volume of agricultural products will be returned to farmers.
