Drought forecast for August released by Kazhydromet

Taking into account the precipitation accumulated over recent months, atmospheric humidification conditions in Kazakhstan in August are expected to be mostly close to normal, and in some areas of grain-growing regions - moderately humid. Kazhydromet reports this.
Atmospheric drought is expected only in the Moyynkum district of Zhambyl region.
Expect moderately humid weather in August:
- in the Taiynshinsky, Ualikhanovsky districts and in the G. Musrepov region of the North Kazakhstan region;
- in Karasu district of Kostanay region;
- in Zerendinsky, Sandyktausky, Burabaysky, Atbasarsky, Astrakhansky, Egindykolsky and Ereymentausky districts of Akmola region and in Stepnogrosk;
- in Aktogay, Irtysh, Zhelezinsky, Kashirsky, Ekibastuz, Sharbaktinsky districts of Pavlodar region and in Pavlodar;
- in Aitekebi, Alginsky, Kargalinsky and Mugalzharsky districts of Aktobe region;
- in the Katon-Karagai region and in the Altai region of the East Kazakhstan region.
In the rest of the country, moisture conditions are expected to be close to normal for this month.
