Kazakhstan has banned the loading of grain and flour to China for the entire month of February 09.02.2024 в 09:35 72 просмотра

For the period from February 9 to February 29, the KTZ company introduced a ban on accepting a wide range of agricultural cargo for loading and redirection in the direction of China - grain, oilseeds, grinding products (flour, animal feed, bran).

The ban affected both export stations working for China - Dostyk and Altynkol. At Dostyk the ban applies to shipments by grain carriers and covered wagons, and at Altynkol - by covered wagons. True, there are exceptions: at Dostyk you can load wheat and corn in covered wagons, and at Altynkol you can load corn.

The reasons for the restrictions in KTZ were the untimely unloading of wagons on the Chinese side, as well as the untimely receipt of trains.

Shippers will be exempt from fines for failure to meet plans in February.
