Astyk Trans suspends collection of fines for demurrage of wagons

The Astyk Trans company will suspend work on collecting fines for excess downtime of its own and leased cars from January 1 to January 15, 2024.
As the company reported, this decision was made due to the deterioration of the train situation and the increase in the turnover of cars on the railway this season. Also, Astyk Trans took into account the introduction of temporary restrictions by KTZ.
At the same time, for cars hired by Astyk Trans from other owners, excess downtime will be accrued as a matter of routine.
It should be noted that Kazakh traders encountered delays in unloading grain carriers in China. The downtime is calculated in weeks.
