The total harvested area of agricultural crops in 2023 amounted to 24 million hectares, which is 652 thousand hectares more than in 2022. Moreover, the grain harvesting area is 17.1 million hectares, reports the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As of November 21, grain harvesting is at the completion stage in all regions of Kazakhstan. According to regional akimats, 16.9 million hectares (99.1%) were harvested with an average yield of 9.7 c/ha, and 16.5 million tons of grain in original weight were threshed. Including - 11.5 million tons of wheat from 13.5 million hectares, yield - 8.5 c/ha).

As for oilseeds, farmers harvested 2.2 million hectares or 78.3%. With an average yield of 8.5 c/ha, 1.8 million tons of oil seeds were collected. 845.7 thousand hectares (74%) of sunflower were harvested, with an average yield of 11.2 c/ha, 943.2 thousand tons were threshed.

Potatoes were completely harvested from an area of 182.4 thousand hectares, the gross harvest amounted to 3.6 million tons with a yield of 200.4 c/ha. Vegetable crops were harvested from an area of 165.3 thousand hectares, the gross harvest amounted to 4.3 million tons with a yield of 262.4 c/ha.
