The national operator of railway transportation reported the accumulation of more than 100 container trains with grain cargoes at Dostyk station in the direction of China. The reason is repair work at the transshipment site of the Chinese Alashankou station, as well as repair work on sections of the Moynty - Dostyk tracks.

In order to prevent further accumulation of cargo, the management of KTZ decided to ban for 10 days, from September 1 to September 10, the acceptance of goods in containers for transportation: grain, milling products, bran, oilseeds and cake from all stations of Kazakhstan in the direction of the PRC through Dostyk.
