Food Corporation has begun accepting the 2026 grain harvest from agricultural producers who received funding under the forward purchase program. To support agricultural producers amidst the seasonal decline in grain prices, the national grain operator has set fair purchase prices for agricultural products.
The price per tonne for the 2026 grain harvest will be as follows:
— Class 3 wheat (gluten 27%+, falling number 250+) – 115,000 tenge;
— Class 3 wheat (gluten 25–26%, falling number 200+) – 96,000 tenge;
— Class 3 wheat (gluten 23–24%, falling number 160+) – 92,000 tenge;
— Class 4 wheat (gluten 18%+, falling number 80+) – 82,000 tenge;
— Class 5 wheat (gluten 18%+) – 75,000 tenge;
— Durum wheat (vitreousness 60, falling number 200+) – 90,000 tenge;
— Class 2 barley – 75,000 tenge.
This year, the national grain operator allocated 31.9 billion tenge for the forward financing of agricultural enterprises.
The forward purchase program for agricultural products remains one of the most sought-after support tools for farmers. It enables farmers to obtain accessible financing in advance for spring field operations and guarantees a market for the future harvest once the harvesting campaign is complete.
