Chinese customs officials stopped letting previously agreed goods into the country, including grain and animal feed. China refused to accept Kazakh grain. Domestic exporters fell into a transport trap on the border with the Middle Kingdom, the correspondent of the Atameken Business TV channel reports.
We have already said that at least 8 thousand wagons with various goods, which came from the Dostyk and Altynkol stations, accumulated in front of the checkpoint. The government said that this was due to the tightening of sanitary and epidemiological measures by the administration of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. However, the Union of Grain Growers believes that with all the will, this problem can be solved.
